BUSINESS NEWS - The annual Strawberry Festival presented by Ola takes place on 30 September to 1 October at Redberry Farm in George with a robust family day programme.
The festival features more than 50 attractions and programme highlights to look forward to, including music, culinary, sports and family entertainment – all centred around the icon of the event: juicy strawberries!
Attractions include:
• culinary pairings for coffee and craft beer
• live artist shows with Dewald Wasserfall, Joe Foster and Majozi
• a 5km family fun run and a 9km trail run through the strawberry fields

Sweet and sticky fun for tiny festivalgoers includes kids strawberry and ice cream eating competitions; Redberry Farm activities; face and glitter painting; soft play and the outdoor kids park with a range of inflatables.
Catch the Ace Models Miss Strawberry pageant, balloon art shows and meet the mascot at the outside stage.
Discovering the secrets of a strawberry is an all-day process.
Visit the Strawberry Emporium for a divine strawberry experience, pick strawberries in the fields, participate in the Redberry Farm Strawberry Eat Off! and Strawberry Stomping competitions for a chance to win prizes valued at more than R10 000.
