Professor Burgess addressed key role players in business on “Becoming alive to the context of African markets and driving profitable growth.” In addition to his extensive experience within the business school environment as well as management and leadership expertise, Professor Burgess also held senior level positions within private business. According to Elsa Myburgh, Manager NMMU BS George and Southern Cape, a follow-up event is planned for early next year for the benefit of business leaders.
