Meiringspoort-halfmarathon
Lloyd Bosman (Nedbank SWD) en Melissa van Rensburg (Nedbank SWD) was verlede Saterdag onderskeidelik die mans- en vrouewenner van die Meiringspoort-halfmarathon. Bosman het die roeterekord wat hy tans hou, met 14 sekondes verbeter. Meer as 3 000 atlete het vir die 21,1 km en 12,5 km-wedlope deur Meiringspoort ingeskryf. Atlete in rolstoele het ook deelgeneem waarvan die bekendste waarskynlik die sanger Matthys Roets was.
