GEORGE NEWS - From 21 to 30 June, between 09:00 and 17:00 daily, the George Food, Wine & Beer Festival awaits at The Market inside the iconic Transnet Transport Museum - a lovely week-long event not to be missed!

This unique event offers free entry and brings together over 100 stalls.
Explore a variety of flavours in the food court, discover exciting wine farms and alcoholic beverage producers including Grundheim Craft Distillers, Calitzdorp Wine Cellar, Herold Wines, SA Moerse Lekker and Thorny Creek Craft Brewery.
Music
Live music will accompany your experience, with talented artists like Karla Gouws and Kobus Gouws performing during the first weekend, and more artists to follow.
Good cause
Additionally, your participation supports a worthy cause. SA for Hope is a non profit organisation assisting needy farmers and farm workers in the Karoo, Western Parts of the Eastern Cape and local communities.
Museum
On top of all the delicious and wonderful offerings at The Market, visitors can also explore more than 14 000m2 of historical items housed at the museum as well as the departure and arrival of the world-famous Outeniqua Power Van that travels into the Outeniqua Mountain and back.
