The Boks rose from the ashes after their defeat at the hands of Japan to record an inspiring 46-6 win over Samoa in Birmingham this weekend, but now they need to prepare themselves for a tough game against a good Scottish side in hostile territory.
Newcastle is less than 100km from the Scottish border and in the north of England, with a number of Scots set to make the train trip down to St James’ Park for the game to negate the Bok fans that will also be in attendance.
But more important for the Boks is the fact they need to up their game, ensure they take a step forward from the Samoa game and don’t let their standards slip.
