It is very important to have the correct aim in order to produce an on target shot.
One might think there is something wrong with your golf swing but in essence one could just be aiming wrong and trying to overcompensate by manipulating the swing to get the ball back on target.
Here is a very good way of making sure you do aim/align correctly. On the practise tee or driving range just lay another alignment stick or club down parallel to your target. One can do this buy imagining a railroad track towards your flag or target.
Then when playing a golf game on the course one should pick a small blade of grass or discoloured patch in front of your ball maybe 2 feet in front on line towards your target and then align your club and then your body according to this line.
