OUDTSHOORN NEWS - The eleventh AGM of SWD Cricket, since the establishment of the body as a non-profit company, will be held at the offices of SWD Cricket at the Recreation Ground in Oudtshoorn on Saturday 26 July.
Various vacant positions at the Board of Directors will be filled at the meeting. The term (two terms of three years) of the vice-president and non-independent director, Carlos Koeberg, has ended.
The nominees are Clyde Avontuur, Donovan Claassen, Luzuko Mralazi, Katrisha Strydom and Mornay Stuurman.
Together with Carlos Koeberg the term of Adv Michelle Weyers has also come to an end.
The two positions of non-independent directors will be filled from Donovan Claassen (Mayflower Cricket Club), Phillip Goliath (Western Hope Cricket Club), Hein Jacobs (Sussex Cricket Club), Andrew Jantjies (Thembalethu Cricket Club) and Jeanique Williams (Blanco Cricket Club).
The financial and commercial director, Ross McMillan, has stepped down due to personal reasons and the independent nominations panel will nominate a candidate.
