SWD Cricket board of directors put their heads together

CRICKET NEWS - The board of directors of SWD Cricket held an induction session and strategic planning workshop in Oudtshoorn last Saturday, 30 September.

Corrie van Zyl, a former coach of the Proteas and general manager at Cricket SA, who fulfils the role of executive consultant at Cricket SA, facilitated the programme.

The session focused on the role and functions of directors as stipulated in the Companies Act and alignment with the King IV Report on Good Governance.

The progress in terms of the strategic plan of the company was also reviewed and operational action plans were formalised.
