SOUTHERN CAPE CRICKET NEWS - The SWD Cricket Twenty20 league will kick-off this weekend. The thirty-two affiliated clubs are divided into eight pools of four teams each.
Within each pool, teams will play each other in a round-robin format. The respective pool winners will advance to the quarter-finals.
The semi-finals and final for this league will be contested on 26 October.
The SWD league winner, together with the winners from Boland and Western Province will play in a qualifying round to determine the Western Cape representative to advance to the Multiply National Club championships.
