GARDEN ROUTE CRICKET NEWS - Pacaltsdorp United had an outstanding weekend in the SWD Promotion league division 1 league with two impressive victories. On Saturday Pacaltsdorp (151 all out) defeated Bongolethu (146 all out) by 5 runs in a nail-biting match. 

On Sunday they recorded another nail-biting wicket against Western Hope. Pacaltsdorp posted 156 before they dismissed Western Hope by 152 runs.

The defeat was Western Hope's first after six victories.

In the Reserve league semi-finals Union Stars C defeated George B by 20 runs and Mossel Bay B defeated Pioneers B by 63 runs to advance to the finals that will take place on Saturday.
