OUDTSHOORN CRICKET NEWS - Dane Piedt returned the best ever match figures for the World Sports Betting Cape Cobras in franchise history as they took a massive step towards the four-Day Domestic Series title with a resounding eight-wicket win late on day three over the Multiply Titans.
The match took place in Oudtshoorn last Wednesday.
The home captain, who took six for 75 in the first innings, followed that up with seven for 66, to bowl out the defending champions for 151 runs.
It gave the spinner a career-best-match-figures of 13 for 141 – surpassing the previous best of 12 for 105 taken by Wayne Parnell against the Dolphins at Cape Town in 2015/16.
