GARDEN ROUTE NEWS - A 23-year-old man is expected to make his first court appearance today, Wednesday 5 October, in the Mossel Bay Magistrate's Court today following the murder of 21-year-old Mossel Bay resident Nomaphelo Pantsi.
Police spokesperson Sgt Chris Spies says Nomaphelo’s body was discovered by children who were playing in the bushes near Bokwe Street in KwaNonqaba on Sunday, 2 October.
Spies says Nomaphelo was found naked and she had an open wound to the face.
The suspect was arrested in Thembalethu in George on Monday, 3 October. He is being charged with murder. The circumstances surrounding the incident are still being investigated.
