NATIONAL NEWS - As from 1 April, the South African Security Agency (SASSA) no longer carries the cost of bank accounts, including those of Grindrod Bank.
This means that all beneficiaries using banks to access their grants will be liable for the costs of banking fees.
However, beneficiaries who utilise the Pay Point and biometric Point of Sale (POS) devices will continue to be subsidised.
SASSA card holders may call: 0800 60 01 60 (for a free call back service).
EasyPay Everywhere card holders may call: 0860 99 41 62 (for a free call back service).
Grindrod Bank reassures all beneficiaries that grant payments will continue to be paid as normal to all cards and can be used at any retail point and any POS or ATM.
