Sexwale at the weekend confirmed he would be running for the top job next year.
The Fifa elections will take place in February.
This comes after long serving head Sepp Blatter was suspended pending investigations by the Swiss and United States authorities.
Sexwale will be looking to gain the support of Africa’s 53 other Fifa member countries.
Jordaan says Sexwale has a long campaign ahead of him, but he has the right credentials for the job.
