PLETTENBERG BAY NEWS - Plettenberg Bay police have called on the community for assistance with tracking down a suspect linked to a recent farm attack.
The incident happened on Sunday 22 October at about 03:45 on a farm on the Avontuur Road, Wittedrift.
Police spokesman Captain Marlene Pieterse said the 45-year-old farmer woke up to the sound of breaking glass and found two young men in his home.
She added that the homeowner managed to chase the suspects away, but they returned shortly thereafter armed with machetes.
Pieterse said this week that police believed that one of the suspects dropped a knitted beanie at the scene.
