NATIONAL NEWS - A kitten cornered a 1 metre long venomous Puff Adder last night in Limit Heights. Ladysmith.

Residents noticed their kitten jumping around the outside and back of their house as if it was playing with something. When the actions of the feline got more aggressive they went to investigate.

It was then that they saw a huge snake right on their doorstep.

The residents quickly contacted the police who contacted Eugene Jonck and Rina van Vuuren who responded to the scene and safely captured the snake with the use of snake equipment. This drew a large crowd of amazed residents.
