Children injured after bakkies collide

NATIONAL NEWS - Five people, among them a child, were critically injured when two bakkies collided head on in Koster Street, in Magaliesburg.

According to ER24 spokesperson Chitra Bodasing, two other people sustained moderate injuries and a baby sustained minor injuries during the accident which occurred on 19 April.

When ER24 paramedics and other emergency services arrived they found patients lying all over the area. It is understood that patients were ejected from the vehicles.

“The baby, believed to be two-years-old, was found in the veld. The bakkies were badly damaged,” said Bodasing.
