GARDEN ROUTE | KAROO NEWS - The SA Weather Service has issued a weather warning for Veldfire Conditions valid until Wednesday, 22 November.
Extremely high temperatures and fire danger conditions are expected over Kannaland and Oudtshoorn.
Members of the public are warned to be vigilant, as warm temperatures, dry conditions, and strong winds could result in the development of runaways and veld/bushfires. Fire teams, labour, and equipment will be placed on standby. At the first sign of smoke, every possible measure should be taken to bring the fire under control in the shortest possible time.
