OUDTSHOORN NUUS - Die Oudtshoorn Courant het pas bevestiging ontvang van die eerste Covid-19-geval in die dorp.
Die inligting is vroeër ontvang, maar die koerant se beleid bepaal dat inligting eers geplaas word nadat inligting amptelik bekend gemaak is.
Mediclinic Klein Karoo het pas n verklaring uitgereik om die geval te bevestig.
Die geval reflekteer nog nie op die data wat vroeër vandag deur die Wes-Kaapse Premier, Alan Winde vrygestel is nie en sal waarskynlik by môre s'n ingesluit wees.
Geen verdere besonderhede word bekend gemaak nie.

MEDICLINIC KLEIN KAROO CONFIRMS POSITIVE SARS CoV-2 PATIENT
Mediclinic can confirm that a patient who has been seen at Mediclinic Klein Karoo tested positive for SARS CoV-2. The patient was not admitted to the hospital but has been sent home for self-isolation.
Mediclinic continues to follow the strict protocols released by the National Institute for Communicable Diseases (NICD) and the WHO, in order to prevent the transmission of the virus in our facilities and to protect our staff.
We encourage anyone experiencing signs and symptoms of flu or who thinks that they may have been exposed to the virus to contact their healthcare provider.
