DYSSELSDORP NEWS - The ESKOM mini-substation feeding the Klein Karoo Rural Water Supply Scheme (KKRWSS) boreholes in Varkieskloof, Dysselsdorp has been severely vandalised last weekend resulting in water shortages in the KKRWSS water supply.
ESKOM is hard at work to replace the mini-sub with an emergency transformer to get the boreholes in operation again.
We trust that the power supply will be restored by this afternoon but water shortages can continue till Friday and we urge KKRWSS consumers to use water sparingly so that the reservoir levels can be restored.
