GARDEN ROUTE DISTRICT NEWS - Ladismith Police gave a stern warning to drug peddlers, as they started with crime combatting efforts in a campaign this week and arrested a 26-year-old suspect.
Members of the Ladismith Police were on patrol on Wednesday, 5 May, at about 09:15 when they noticed the suspect exiting a building.
The suspect immediately started to run when he spotted the approaching police officers, but they apprehended him. They found a few "bankies" of Tik and half a Mandrax tablet in his hands.
These drugs were confiscated and handed in as evidence.
