Two elderly patients, occupants from the same vehicle, were transported to Mediclinic George with mild to moderate injuries, while the three occupants of the second vehicle were transported to the Provincial Hospital with mild injuries.

Outeniqua Pass accident: update
Accidents on the Outeniqua Pass frequently occurs during rainy weather. Motorists are advised to drive with caution.

GEORGE NEWS - Five patients were transported to local hospitals following the motor vehicle accident in the Outeniqua Pass earlier today. 

Emergency personnel were notified at about 09:23. 

Two elderly patients, occupants from the same vehicle, were transported to Mediclinic George with mild to moderate injuries, while the three occupants of the second vehicle were transported to the Provincial Hospital with mild injuries. 

None of the patients could tell the crews exactly what happened, and how it happened. 

Accidents frequently occur on the Outeniqua Pass during rainy weather. Motorists are advised to drive with caution.
