GARDEN ROUTE | KAROO NEWS - Mossel Bay lecturer and image consultant Nadia Lemmetuis is in the Sarie magazine front cover competition top 40.
This is the third year she is entering the competition, which attracts thousands of entrants from throughout South Africa.
The winner gets to appear on the magazine's front page. Besides being attractive, she usually has an interesting, compelling story to tell, which uplifts women.
Nadia lectures in the subjects of Management Communication and English at the South Cape College campus in Mossel Bay.
On Friday, 30 July, the top 10 finalists are being announced at www.sarie.com.
The winner will be announced on 27 August. The voting section of the competition has already been completed.
Nadia Lemmetuis
Nadia, who has worked as a public relations consultant, grew up in challenging economic circumstances, so she understands what it is to be in need.
Her mother used to bring home clothing and empty perfume bottles which her employer was throwing out. Nadia would make outfits for herself by altering the second hand clothes and she dreamt of being able to buy her own perfume one day.
Her message to others is: "Despite your circumstances, dream big."
