Public Notice: Power Outage – Update 3

Kindly be advised that the Municipality remains in communication with Eskom regarding the ongoing power outage.

 It appears that Eskom will unfortunately not be able to restore power by the initial projected timeframe.
The Municipality is currently awaiting Eskom’s official media release, which will provide an update on the current progress, an Estimated Time of Restoration (ETR), as well as formal details regarding the matter that are only available to Eskom.
As soon as Eskom’s media release is received, the Municipality will communicate the information to the public and provide an update on the way forward.
We sincerely apologise once again for the ongoing inconvenience and thank the community of Oudtshoorn for their continued patience, understanding and cooperation.
