Vanaf sy stigting beskou die Suid-Kaap Jagters- en Bewaringsvereniging (SJB) junior opleiding as een van sy prioriteite op die jaarprogram en die onlangse naweek was geen uitsondering toe nóg 'n geslaagde veldskool op die Wouter de Vos-skietbaan, naby Klein-Brakrivier aangebied is nie. Aspirant leerders uit verskillende laerskole in die Suid-Kaap het deelgeneem aan die veldskool en het hul eerste naweek van die skoolvakansie verruil vir 'n onvergeetlike naweek in die veld.
