Projek Rooivalk eindig in Oudtshoorn
Lede van die Oudtshoorn MOTH Halfaya Pass Shellhole in Oudtshoorn het Vrydagaand, 30 Mei, ’n groep van 16 weermagveterane, Charlie Kompanie '82 Infanterieskool-groep verwelkom. Hulle het in Oudtshoorn aangedoen as deel van ’n fondsinsamelingsveldtog, Projek Rooivalk, vir oud weermagveterane wat finansieel swaarkry.Hulle was almal destyds in dieselfde peloton by die Infanterieskool in Oudtshoorn.Die groep onder leiding van Adriaan van der Westhuizen, het 1 400 km vanaf Johannesburg na Oudtshoorn fietsgery, terwyl ’n kleiner groep onder leiding van Nantie Fourie ’n 115 km-vasbytstap vanaf Calitzdorp al langs die Swartberge na Oudtshoorn gedoen waar die twee groepe mekaar ontmoet het.
