Eden-toekennings
Die Eden-sportraad se jaarlikse Sporttoekenningsfunksie is om die draai en uit die talle Eden-sportlui wat die finale lys gehaal het, is daar 'n hele klompie verteenwoordigers vanuit die Tuinroete. Die funksie, wat op 27 Julie op Oudtshoorn aangebied word, het van die beste nominasies gelok volgends die sportraad se woordvoerder Dave van der Walt. "Uit die meer as 190 nominasies oor die 32 kategorië het die beoordelingspaneel ‘n moeilike taak gehad om die finaliste aan te wys," het hy bygelas.
