GARDEN ROUTE DISTRICT ENTERTAINMENT NEWS - Cellist, Throy Petersen, originally from the Garden Route, is busy with post-graduate studies in vocal accompaniment at the Peabody Institute of the John Hopkins University in Maryland, United States.
He is currently in South Africa and despite a hectic schedule, has agreed to present a master class or workshop for Garden Route cellists on 10 April from 11:00 to 13:00.
The venue will be made public at a later date, but the event will be held in George.
Petersen will work with cellists on pieces of their choice for about 20 minutes per cellist.
There will be six spots available for those cellists who would like this one-on-one coaching.

There will be no entry fee, but donations towards Throy's study fees and / or living expenses will be extremely gratefully accepted.
