ENTERTAINMENT NEWS - If you haven’t been following the story of the Ndlovu Youth Choir, it’s safe to say you’ve been missing out.
The choir, from Moutse, outside Groblersdal are one step closer to the final of America’s Got Talent after their energy driven performance of Steve Winwood’s hit “Higher Love”.
The choir, dressed in beautiful turquoise outfits brought judges Gabrielle Union and Julianne Hough to their feet with Union encouraging the audience to vote. “They’re even more amazing than you think,” she said.
Judge Howie Mandel tweeted that he only has one word to describe the choir and that was beautiful.
Back home, former Public Protector, Thuli Madonsela tweeted saying the choir’s performance was ‘stellar’ and thanked them for showing the power of rising together.
The choir have the opportunity to make it through to the final but only through votes by the public. They made headlines in June when they first auditioned for the show and have since warmed the hearts of not only South Africa, but the world.
