OUDTSHOORN NUUS - The chlorine dosing at Raubenheimerdam has been increased to maximum.
Following the bacteria identified as E.coli in the Oudtshoorn human water consumption system, Ntobeko Mangqwengqwe, spokesperson for the Oudtshoorn Municipality, this evening said: "Follow up samples will be taken tomorrow morning early for analysis in George.
"The results will be available on Wednesday afternoon."
"Chlorine tablets were added to the Church Street reservoir."
Mangqwengqwe explained the method of sampling has also been adjusted to limit the possibility of contamination from sampling to analysis.
