Meiringspoort-veldwedloop en Bergfiets-marathon
Dit is die derde keer dat die gewilde Meiringspoort-veldwedloop deur die De Rust gemeenskap aangebied word. Vanjaar is daar egter ook ’n korter 9,5 km roete naas die 19,5 km aangebied. Altesaam 349 het vanjaar vir die Veldren ingeskryf. Die langer, oorspronklike roete vanaf De Rust NG Kerk, oor Barry Meijer se plaas Meijer’s Rust en Pieter Schoeman se plaas Voelgesang en terug na die kerk ingeskryf. In 2014 was daar 100 inskrywings en in 2015 was daar 150.
