Shoprite skenk water aan De Rust
Ondanks waterskenkings is daar steeds 'n kommerwekkende watertekort in De Rust. Shoprite het vanoggend (Dinsdag 10 Januarie) toegetree tot die waternood en die eerste van ‘n ongeveer 50 000 liter gebottelde water by die De Rust-munisipaliteit begin aflaai. Adele Kruger-Taljaard, bemarkingsbestuurder van Shoprite Checkers (Pty) Ltd, het vanoggend gesê die eerste van die ongeveer 50 000 liter water word vandag afgelewer. Die res sal deur die week na De Rust aangery word.
